India has obtained it's first Gold Medal in the Beijing Olympics 2008. India's first Gold Medal came from Shooting- Men's 10 meter Air Riffle. The athlete who got the gold is Abhinav Bindra.
Thailand also has a Gold Medal in the Beijing Olympics 2008. Prapawadee Jaroenrattanatarakoon won the Gold Medal in the Weightlifting Women's 48-53 kgs.
Other countries in the Beijing Olympics are still at zero Olympic Medals.
