The former UFC Champion died last monday due to a possible heat stroke. Tanner was found dead miles away from his camp after a "cleansing trek". Authorities speculate the possibility that Evan Tanner died of heat stroke. His motorcyle was found without gas. Tanner possibly went for a walk with a 115-118 degree of heat.

Too bad Evan Tanner died this way. He was only 37 years old.

Adsense Earnings Fluctuating!

Traffic just went down immediately after the O----l----ympics. With that my adsense earnings also went down. However the past 2 days I was able to recover and made very good money from adsense. The CPM was higher the past 2 days. But today, I am so shocked by the earnings that I have made from adsense. The money just went really down. It's just the beginning of the day though but the difference is quite noticeable. The CPM or cost per impression just went really low. Could I be smart priced? Or could this be because of my failure to update some of my blogs.

For this particular blog alone, I noticed the most low CPM which was not the case before. This blog has high CPM for the ads. So yes, I have this theory that the O--l--ympic ads are causing this. The event just ended so advertisers are expecting low traffic and thus are bidding low for the keywords. So basically, my move now is to eliminate the said ads and incorporate high paying keywords in my posts so that I can make more money with adsense. More money because I badly need it, especially now that I have lots of financial obligations and my financial standing can't suffice for all. Well, everyone needs money nowadays. :)

The 2008 Beijing Olympics has ended. This blog has focused on this event for the past days- from the day the Olympics started until the day it ended. There are just two purposes for shifting from the main topic of this blog which is affiliate marketing | affiliate programs:

1. Provide information about current events
2. Make money from current events

In the blogosphere, traffic is the key to making more money. Traffic is like food to us webmasters. We need traffic to either sell a product, promote an affiliate program, or to earn from the ads displayed on our sites. The more traffic your blog or site gets, the more money you are likely to make.

For the Olympic Games event, although I was late in optimizing this blog for better SERP, yet I was able to get into the 1st -3rd page of google search results in some keywords. Thus I get over a thousand visits at times.

Unlike other webmasters who reached $600 from adsense because of the heavy traffic, I managed to just pull off over $200. But that's my quota and I'm sure glad I reached it before the month of August ends.

There is still traffic from Olympic Final Medal Tally, Olympic Final Medal Count, Medal Count in Olympics and other keywords related to Olympics. I hope the traffic continues for more days and I hope to get more earnings from adsense so that I can buy myself a new cellular phone. The 2008 Olympics Closing Ceremony is an event that many people are looking forward to see. The 2008 Olympics Closing Ceremony will be aired on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at 7 PM on NBC. I really hope the chinese girl who was banned from singing due to her chubby face and crooked teeth will sing the closing song this time.

NBC Exec-VP says,

"There are high expectations for the Closing Ceremony after the amazing spectacle we saw at the Opening Ceremony,"

"I went to the dress rehearsal the other day witnessed more of Zhang Yimou's unbelievable creative vision. I've been sworn to secrecy but I will say that this will be another visual extravaganza featuring a cast of 6,800 on an unprecedented scale. Even with the high expectations, it will not disappoint."

The closing ceremony for the Beijing Olympics will include the handing over of the Olympic flag to London, which is where the next Summer Olympics will be held.

Highlights of Day 15

A Japanese swimmer collapses at Water Cube Pool in the synchronized swimming event. Hiromi Kobayashi, a 23-year-old from Osaka hyperventilated as their routine ended. It's her first time to join in the Olympics and according to the Japanese team, she is a very nervous athlete.

Taekwondo Chinese fans were angry after a protest by the British team which made the tournament officials overturn the results of the quarter final victory. Chen Zhong of China advanced to the semi finals of the women's 72kg category, after the referees failed to register a score of head kick inflicted by British opponent Sarah Stevenson. After a review of the game, the results were overturned and Sarah Stevenson was proclaimed winner.

Mary Antoinette Rivero Lost In Women's 57-67 kg Match

This is a bad news to all Filipinos. Our very own Mary Antoinette Rivero lost in Women's 57-67 kg match against Sandra Saric of Crotia, with a score of 4- 1 in favor of the Crotian athlete. Rivero needs 4 straight wins to bag the gold and 3 to get the silver. But unfortunately she's defeated in her first fight.

Mary "Toni" Rivero is a veteran in Taekwondo having made it to the finals in Athens Olympics at the age of 16 and almost brought home the bronze for the Philippines.

At the world qualifying tournament in Manchester last year, Rivero beat Brnic of Bosnia Herzogovina and Cherkun of Ukraine but lost to Saric in a sudden death kick-0ff. Rocky Samson, the national women's coach protested Saric's victory insisting that the sudden death was for a right kick in the arm. It shouldn't have been counted. When Rivero countered on the open side, it should have been a point as well, but the judges failed to see it.

This time again in the Beijing Olympics 2008, Rivero lost to Saric. A total disappointment for Rivero. But there is no doubt that Rivero is a very good Taekwondo fighter. We "Filipinos" fully support her and are proud of her and the other Filipino athletes in the Olympics.

Crash Near Olympic Rowing Venue: 2 People Dead

An accident occured near Beijing Olympic's Rowing Venue. A bus from the athletes' village collided with a van on the way to the Shunyi Olympic Rowing canoeing Park. 2 passengers from the van died in the hospital while other two are seriously injured.

Passengers of the bus who happens to be Crotian Rowers, the double sculls team of Mario Vekic and Ante Kusurin were not seriously injured. The two competed and finished fourt in the semifinal. Greg Lovell, the Australian rowing team doctor was also a passenger of the bus but was not seriously injured.

The world's oldest woman died just recently at the age of 53. Sandy Allen, is the Guiness World of Records holder of the title as the World's Tallest Woman. She stands at 7feet 6 inches tall. She is from Indianapolis, IN. She died in a nursing home in her hometown of Shelbyville.

Sandy Allen had been hospitalized for months due to blood infection, diabetes, breathing troubles and kidney failure. However the cause of death of the world's tallest woman is not yet known.

The Spanish Basketball team's controversial photo.

Spain's Olympic basketball for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games defended the photo of the 15 basketball players using their fingers to make their eyes look more Chinese. The photo was shot inside a basketball court adorned with Chinese dragon and is part of the team sponsor- Seur's publicity campaign. The photo however was used only in Spain. But it reached the whole world and has caused a major upset to China.

The charming little girl that sang in the Beijing Olympics Ceremony was a fake. She was not the real one who sang the "Ode to Motherland". This charming girl Lin Miaoke was ordered by a China official to lip sync because the seven-year-old singer Yang Peiyi, right, wasn't deemed cute enough.

The real singer, 7-year-old Yang Peiyi, with her chubby face and crooked baby teeth, wasn’t good looking enough for the ceremony, its chief music director told state-owned Beijing Radio..

That is so f$ck#ng sh$t. I can't imagine how that poor little Peiyi felt as she sang somewhere hidden while some other girl sang infront of 91,000 live audience and billions of worldwide watchers, pretending that Peiyi's angelic voice was her voice.

Yes, China is really wanting to make the Beijing Olympic Games a perfect one to the extent of playing with these two little girls. It's like telling Peiyi indirectly how ugly she is so at the last minute someone prettier than her had to face the crowd as she hides and sings. Lin on the other has to be the fraud to please the audience.

Peiyi deserves to be praised for her beautiful voice and cute face. She deserves to sing in front of hundreds of thousands. China should be proud of this cute little girl's amazing talent and not put up a deceptive show. If this olympic scandal hasn't been exposed, Lin would have taken all the credits, and who would have known about Peiyi?

I really pity Peiyi. Peiyi had thought she'd really be the one singing in fron the Beijing Olympics crowd since the change was a last minute one. I could not imagine how the little girl felt. Being replaced because of a chubby face and a crooked teeth. This is what I am most hurt about. They should have not given this poor girl the hope that she could sing live and in person, and worst tell the whole world that she's replaced because she's not pretty enough. Imagine telling that to a little girl. You tear down her confidence and self-esteem.

China beats USA in Women's Gymnastics, getting GOLD Medal.

USA's Gymnastic Team was disappointed. It was a devastating defeat.

Michael Phelps is unstoppable. After getting the 3 Gold Medals straight in a row for 3 days, he has won another Gold Medal for the United States of America in the 200 meter butterfly today. Not only did he win the Olympic Gold Medal but he also made a new world record once more - 1 minute, 52.03 seconds, breaking his old mark of 1:52.09 set at last year’s world championships in Australia.

I've been talking about the 2008 Beijing Olympics Medal Tally and updates for the past days, when in fact this blog is about how to make money online. In my earlier post-Beijing Olympics 2008, I tackled about getting traffic from events that transpire in the real world- like this "Summer Olympics 2008.. In my earlier article, I said that getting into the SERP for the keyword "Beijing Olympic Games Medal Tally , is already tough because of the high competition as many wemasters are already optimizing ahead of me. Like what I said, if I get into the top page for the keyword, then I must be very lucky. Let's see if I am indeed lucky enough:

Sounds lucky enough to get into that rank. But a lot of webmasters are too good at optimization techniques that they can easily outrank my blog which is a PR-0, and articles about Beijing Olympic Medal Tally were only posted a few days ago. There really is no point of rejoicing on my part. I may be in the SERP today and I'd be gone tomorrow. The USA team won against the Chinese basketball team in the basketball event in the Beijing Olympics 2009. The final score was 101 - 70 in favor the United States.

China’s Yao Ming, All-Star center for the Houston Rocket and other Chinese players were no match to the American's Dwyane Wade, Lebron James and Koby Bryant and other NBA players. Nonetheless China put up a good fight.

American Killed In Beijing Olympics 2008

Here's an Update on the latest in Beijing Olympics 2008.

What started as a spectacular, dazzling Beijing Olympics ceremony was followed by the stabbing of two Americans and 1 chinese tour guide at the Drum Tower (13th century tourist attraction).

The culprit was a chinese man 47 years old, named Tang Yongming.

The American victims were: Todd and Barbara Bachman = the in laws of U.S men's indoor volleball coach Hugh McCutcheon and parents of former U.S. women's volleyball player Elisabeth Bachman. Todd Bachman died as a result.

While the assailant committed suicide by leaping from a 130-foot-high balcony of the ancient landmark Drum Tower.

This tragic event raises the issue of security in Beijing China. Security issues that has been questioned even before the Olympics started. Certainly the death of Todd Bachman is a great loss to his family and to the Americans. What is supposed to be a happy event, became a nightmare for the Americans involved. The China government has to tighten it's securities and ensure the safety of all the participants and tourists in the Beijing Olympics 2008.
